Birthday Time!

Well now I get to put all my excitement into a post. My daughter's birthday is coming up and this week I'm planning her birthday. I'm planning a "Duckie" themed party and we ordered her personal cake already. I'm so thrilled! I think that she'll have fun, Jeff is going to make her breakfast for her and wake her up. Its hard to believe she's going to be a year old....

On a more disappointing note, Jeff told me he only wants one baby. I want to have lots of kids. like maybe three, but...I know that won't happen...oh well....

I just hope everything works out....I love my family...but I want a big family.

  1. Happy happy day! A year old! I remember once your mom and I made a homemade birthday cake for my mom! It was so much fun! I think I could have only been four or five when we made it but I will cherish that memory with your mama forever!!! I am sure Hazel will make many memories like that with your momma! :) give Jeff time....you guys are so very young yet! you guys will get in your feet, have jobs, and your own home someday! He could change his mind. I am sure having a little one is overwhelming right now and he just wants to give the best possible life to the baby he has now. I have seen my friends go thru what u are experiencing...they have a baby young, get in their feet and five years later they have like three kids! :) and there family is fine with thatbig of an age gap! You need to enjoy your youth too! :) you are a wonderful young woman with so many wonderful ideas!!! this is the time for you to take care of your little family and to find your path in life! I am going to give you some advice from an old friend I was talking to at a horse show. It was 11pm at night at a very large horse show, my mom was in a mares confirmation class that had 40 horses in it! you can imagine how long it would take to judge that many horses! (A long time!) I was complainin to my friend, who was in his 70s and a old cowboy, that I wish we just knew the results because I was excited and tired all at once! Mom made it to the two in the class and the judge had been judging those two horses for twenty or more minutes!!! Then my friend told me "life isn't about the destination, it is about the journey". I try to remember those words every day when I get anxious or don't have the definite answer! So all I can say to you my wonderful cousin is to sit back and enjoy your time with your little family now and find out what motivates you! This is your time to find a career you are passionate about and to nuture your wonderful life! So get out there fix that fence, hay those cows, and enjoy the ride of your life!! :)
